You can’t mention antiques without thinking about TV expert David Dickinson and his mid afternoon show, Dickinson’s Real Deal.
The show invites members of the public to bring in their items and see if they can tempt the dealers to part with their hard earned cash.
If they don’t like the offer, they have the option to decline and take them to auction instead in the hope of making more money. If they choose correctly, and walk away with the highest amount of money from the auction, that’s the Real Deal!
How It Works
The show regularly airs on weekday afternoons at 2pm, and offers free entry postal competitions where a lucky viewer can win the cash value of an item on the show. To enter, send your name and phone number to the address provided.

About The Dickinson’s Real Deal Prize Draw
Competitions time on Real Deal takes one of three forms, with the most common being the daily competition. This involves a different question each day for viewers to win a new prize.
The second variety is the accumulator where the prize gets bigger each day until the largest jackpot prize is given away with the competition question on Friday’s edition of Dickinson’s Real Deal.
Finally, the third variation that’s used is the weekly version similar to that of Good Morning Britain, This Morning and Loose Women.
For these prize draws, there’s one competition for the whole week, and a much larger prize, usually between £20,000 and £30,000 cash. Regardless of the current competition format, you can find the question to get in the draw in the video above.
