This Morning’s Coin Drop Competition

At A Glance
Prize Up to £20,000 cash
Closing Date 03/07/24, 11:20AM
Online Entry £2.00  – No Free Entry Option

It’s been over four months since Spin To Win disappeared from our screens back in early February, so it’s great to see that there’s finally a new viewers’ competition arriving on This Morning.

Unfortunately, like 12 at 12 was a year or so ago, this time it’s a paid entry only competition, so there’s no way to enter for free.

How To Enter The Competition

To play the game, you need to head over to ITV Win at itv.com/win and click the Coin Drop tile.

You’ll be asked to accept the terms and conditions before you star your entry, and then you’ll have to answer a multiple question to qualify to enter the prize draw.

You only get one shot at answering correctly, so be sure to read the question and answers carefully before choosing the option for your answer.

If you’re correct, you can then pay for your entry (£2.00 for a single entry into the draw), and you’ll be in with a chance of being the lucky viewer chosen to play.

How The Winner Plays Coin Drop

Players are chosen from all qualifying entries at random, and the game is played around midday – between 11.55am and 12.15pm after each draw closes.

As we’ve seen on This Morning before, the chosen player will have to answer the phone within 6 rings, or they’ll move on to the next entry drawn.

There are a selection of columns on the playing board numbered 1 to 7, with the player choosing which one to use. The presenters will insert the game coin into the slot chosen, and it will bounce down the game area, bouncing off pegs until it falls into one of the cash prize amounts at the bottom.

The player then gets to choose whether they want to accept the prize or try again, in the hope of getting a higher prize. If they choose to play again, the first amount is lost.

Prizes range from £3,000 up to £20,000, so all prizes are significant to win.

The breakdown is:

  • £10,000
  • £3,000
  • £5,000
  • £7,000
  • £20,000
  • £3,000
  • £10,000
  • £5,000
  • £7,000

There’s only one chance to play again, so a maximum of two coin drops, unless the coin sticks in which case that drop will be replayed from the same slot chosen.
