ITV run a huge number of competitions, most of which run on the weekday daytime TV shows. You’ll find the most popular ones across the menu on the top of the site, and the rest in the menu on the right (or right at the bottom of the page if you’re on a mobile).

ITV Win – The Competition Prizes

The competitions normally have prizes worth well over £10,000, and some even get into six digits, such as those that run on the morning shows which are often offering a total value in the region of £50,000.

How To Get Your Free Entry

There are several ways to enter the prize draws, mainly via premium rate phone call or text message, or via a paid web entry through the itv.com/win (or stv.tv/win in Scotland) competitions section (it’s the same one they occasionally run ads on TV for to direct you to itv.com/winning and also used to use itv.com/comps but they all go to the same place).

Increasingly (as somewhat disappointingly!) it seems that ITV have now moved to free postal entries for competitions. People email us a lot and ask why we’re called Enter Competitions Online and yet we list postal entry competitions, and the simple answer is that they were all online when we started!

Is There Always An Online Entry?

We’d love to be able to provide you with a link to an online entry form for all the comps that you don’t need to pay for, but the fact of the matter is that they simply don’t exist any more for many of the competitions. So, for that reason, we continue to provide the information you need to get your free entry, as we know there’s plenty of people out there who want to enter, but object to paying over a pound every time for a phone call or text message.

The good news is that they still do run free online competitions from time to time, like the November ‘Bonfire Bonanza’ and ‘Jungle Jackpot’, ‘Grab A Grand Before Bed’ and the ‘ITV Daily Cash Dash’ which typically give away prizes of around £1,000 and £5,000. The Friday cash dash in July 2019 even reached the heights of them giving away £10,000 for a free online entry.

They’re doing it all again in July and August 2021 with the return of Free Cash Friday competition too, with each of the winners getting £3,000 each! Generally speaking, these tend to run when there’s a really big cash prize on offer on the ITV daytime competitions running across Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning, Loose Women, and more recently John & Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen. Look out for the ad break comps with Andi Peters and Alison Hammond while they’re running these promotions.

Always be sure to read the terms and conditions for the competitions carefully, as you will often be able to enter several times to increase your chances of winning, so long as you manually go through and complete the entries (the free entry route links are on each TV show’s page). If there is a limit to the number of times you can enter, it will tell you in the terms and conditions for that competition, you can find them on the ITV Win website. The general terms are here.

By taking advantage of multiple entries where allowed, you stand a substantially greater chance of winning, especially if you do the same when trying to win lots of different prizes. Just think about what you could do if you were the lucky winner of a new car, or tens of thousands of pounds. Many people don’t think they’ll ever win, but you just have to watch daytime TV to see just how many of these prizes are given away each week, and someone has to win. If you’d like to see the current questions for the ITV competitions, use the menu above, or click through starting with the Dickinsons Real Deal Competition.

Why itv.com/win Or stv.tv/win For Online Entry?

Viewers in Scotland get a lot of ITV programmes shown on their own version of Channel 3, which in many areas of Scotland is called STV. Just as different parts of England and Wales get different ITV regional news programming (as one example), the same applies in Scotland.

Competition Closing Dates

Please pay particular attention to the closing dates of the competitions, which you’ll find in the ‘At A Glance’ box at the top of each page. This will tell you whether the draw is still open, especially important to think about for postal entry options, as these will take a day or two to be delivered, and we don’t want you to waste the cost of a stamp when there’s no chance of winning!

ITV Competition Winners

For each competition, there are a set of terms and conditions that govern how the draw win run. It’s not a particularly exciting read, but it does include details of when the winning entry will be drawn so that the winner can be contacted. Typically, winners are drawn within a week of the final entry method closing, which is almost always postal entry. You’ll find the postal address and postal closing date in the ‘At A Glance’ section on the page for each show. Please note, the closing date is for entries to be received, not posted.

If you’re interested in seeing who has won a given competition, check back to the itv.com/win website (formerly known as itv.com/comps or itv.com/winning depending on the TV ad being run) periodically at least a week after the closing date and you’ll find a winners section that is regularly updated.
